mic, 2016 06 28: At the beginning of recording, because recording waits for several playback buffers to be sent to the output, there is a delay. Because of this delay, the recorded wave is drawn with a large delay – sometimes several seconds long.

This was detected in Orinj version 2.5.8.

mic, 2016 06 29: This was a significant change in how Orinj plays and records. We had to separate playback and recording, so that they each run independently, but remain synchronized. Now, processing recording data should no longer wait for playback.

This was fixed with Orinj version 2.5.9, which was uploaded here on June 29, 2016.
