mic, 2016 10 07: This is not exactly a bug, but a small issue with the internal logic of Orinj. In the Orinj single wave view, when the user clicks on File and then on Save As, Orinj will prompt the user to save the wave in the folder, which already contains a copy of the wave (all waves in Orinj exist on disk and not in memory, even if they are just temporary). Typically, the user will click on File and then on Save As to save waves that are mixes of sessions or loops. When the mix is created, the mixed wave is temporarily saved in whatever directory the user chose for a temporary directory with the Orinj preferences. Thus, Orinj will first prompt the user to save these waves always in the same place.

This is OK, as the user can always browse somewhere else. If the user makes multiple mixes though (e.g., as when working with loops), this can quickly become cumbersome. It would be better for Orinj to start with the folder, where the last mix was saved. In a single song, most mixed loops will probably end up being saved in the same place. For waves that are not temporary, Orinj can start with the folder, in which the wave already resides.

In its next version, for temporary waves (such as mixes), Orinj will start with the folder, where the last wave was saved.
