mic, 2016 11 02: On occasion (rarely), the MIDI roll view may have a problem in opening the correct output for wave files. For example, on certain devices in Windows 10, plugging in headphones may result in changes in the order of available devices, which then means that Orinj will try to send wave data to the wrong output (i.e., this happens if the user opens Orinj, then plugs headphones in, then tries to play a MIDI file). This was corrected for the multitrack session a couple of versions ago. For wave files in the MIDI roll view, Orinj will generate an error, but that error will not be visible to the user. Playback simply will not start.
mic, 2016 11 07: This was changed with version 2.6.4 of Orinj. Orinj will now display the proper error message, when there is a problem with wave output. The fix was uploaded here on 2016 11 03.
