Kludgemaster, 2016 08 25: I recording a small wav file but now I would like to delete it. I do not see an option for deleting a wav from a track.

How do I do this?

I found it. The menu option is under the Session menu which seems weird. It would make more sens to be under the track menu.

Also, would be nice if there was a hover menu available when I click on the track.

mic, 2016 08 25: You are correct - Session and then Cut.

You are also correct that this should probably be in the Track menu. It has been a long time since the original design, but I think then we were thinking of having the cutting work on more than just one wave - i.e., selecting multiple tracks. Right now though, it probably makes more sense under Track. I wish there was a way to vote on these...

We avoided the hover menu initially, because of Macs and their mouse with a single button. That there was no left click and right click. But today, you should be able to press on screen and hold for a hover menu or press harder, depending on your device. This is actually in the works, but it will be a long time before it is ready.

All good suggestions...

With version 4, you can also use popup menus. Right-click on a wave in the session and to see the popup menu. Then click on Remove (to remove the wave but keep its wave file on your hard drive) or on Destroy (to remove the wave and delete the corresponding wave file on your hard drive).
