Forums:

The following are the changes between the previous version 4.2.3 and this version 4.2.4.

  • Fixed the timing of looped playback in the loop building view. In the previous version, because of changes introduced in an earlier version, there might be a delay between the end of the loop and the beginning of the loop when looping playback
  • Fixed the Device Properties dialog (see Preferences), which might not show on Linux because of a bug in Java
  • Added a Track Clear command to the multitrack session menu. This helps the user quickly remove all blocks and effects from the track, rather than doing that block by block and effect by effect
  • Fixing up text for different languages in the dialog for the MIDI pitch bend and the compressor
  • Removed unnecessary repainting of the tap graph in the Bouncing Echo
  • Optimized code in the compressor dialog, the convolution, the loop building view (related to effects), and the multitrack session (when removing blocks)
  • Fixed a minor bug when converting MIDI to Wave to make sure the releasing of MIDI notes is handled correctly. Adding more error checking and making sure all used resources are properly disposed of
  • Fixed the message - Do you want to process this as the first effect… - to show which effect is to be processed and make it easier to understand
