The following are the changes between Orinj version 4.2.7 and this current version.

  • Made significant changes to how the undo works in the single wave view, loop building view, and MIDI roll view to make sure it is applied to the right wave, loop, or MIDI file (since these views can work with several files at the same time)
  • Fixed the undo for adding notes and controls to a new MIDI file in the MIDI roll view. Also fixed a bug that was occasionally marking the current loop as changed when making changes to the current MIDI file
  • Changed the frequency content analysis in the single wave view to allow showing frequency magnitudes under 20 Hz (i.e., DC offset)
  • Fixed a potential bug on the Update button in the frequency content dialog when analyzing short segments
  • Fixed the channel toggle buttons (left, right, both) in the frequency content dialog
  • Fixed a bug when stretching or shrinking whole waves, starting from the beginning of the wave and ending at the end of the wave, as it was not actually stretching or shrinking
  • Fixed another bug when stretching or shrinking whole waves that was mixing left and right channel data
  • Added new error checks when adding hits to a loop, because of errors in loops created with previous versions, in which Orinj may not be able to find the wave file that the hits should play
  • Fixed two bugs when applying envelopes and effects in the single wave view, because the Cancel button did not work properly and the undo after added extra effects
  • Made minor fixes to the track control panel in the left side in the single wave view and the loop hits. None of these fixes are visible to the user
  • Made minor changes to how frequencies in the pitch shift are changed to make the pitch shifting more precise, especially for small amounts of pitch shifting
  • Made a change in the popup menu over notes in the MIDI roll view, so that the specific note is selected and other notes are deselected
  • Added extra error checks when adding effects in the single wave view when there are no open waves
